9/2/06 11:59 pm - thenunownedgoat - Week One: Power of Veto Ceremony, Diary Room Entries
Jason won the Power of Veto competition, giving him the power to veto one of the nominations.
Jason chose to use this power. He chose to veto Diane's nomination, saying "After a lot and a lot and a lot of thought, I am using the veto on Diane because I do not think Diane is inactive as Marie thinks and that she deserves to stay in the game."
Marie, as the Head of Household, is forced to name a replacement nominee.
She chose to name Dorsey (nymphadoraklutz) as the replacement nominee, saying "Sorry Dorsey, but seeing as I have yet to talk to you and since you did not compete in the POV competition, I had no choice but to nominate you."
The two final nominees are now Ally and Dorsey.
HouseGuests, it's now time for your required Diary Room entries. Failure to make a Diary Room entry when requested can result in pentalty nominations, pentalty votes, or other punishments deemed appopriate by Big Brother.
Your Diary Room entry doesn't need to be too long, but it shouldn't be too short, either. Two paragraphs would be nice, but I always encourage more (I really want to know what's going on in your head!). Below are some prompts, and I'd like you to try to answer these questions. However, it would be great if you included other thoughts on the game, other HouseGuests, etc.
--How do you feel about your other HouseGuests?
--How do you feel about the nominations? How do you think you and the rest of your HouseGuests will vote?
--Have you formed any alliances yet? Do you trusts these alliances?
To make a Diary Room entry, simply comment in this post. All comments are screened, so only I can see them, not your other HouseGuests. I won't share what you said, so you can feel free to spill your guts and tell me everything that's going on in your head.
Since we haven't had an eviction yet, I'll run through how it will work. Sometime in the near future (although I cannot say when, exactly), I will post a poll and ask you who you wish to vote to evict. After everyone votes (or a reasonable amount of time goes by), I'll count them up and announce who was evicted. Nine people vote (everyone but the HOH and the two nominees), but I will still ask Marie, the HOH, who she wishes to vote in case of a tie (for two reasons: just to find out who the HOH really wants gone, and in case another HouseGuest doesn't vote within a reasonable amount of time). This will all happen soon, with enough time for you to consider who to vote to evict.
