9/20/06 05:43 pm - thenunownedgoat - Week Four: POV Results, Power of Veto, Twist Announcement, Diary Room Entries
Due to a mistake not even the Chenbot could make, Marie is NOT the Power of Veto winner like I previously declared. It's a good thing we have watchful HouseGuests, because I made a mistake. I'll fix things up in the POV Results cut below. Additioanlly, I offer my apologies to Marie.
Jenn says her favorite HouseGuest is Marie (1).
Stephanie says her favorite HouseGuest is Matt (1).
Matt says his favorite HouseGuest is Marie (2).
Jason says his favorite HouseGuest is Marie (3).
Matthew says his favorite HouseGuest is Marie (4).
Krysta says her favorite HouseGuest is Marie (5).
The final scores are:
This makes Marie the Power of Veto winner! Congratulations, Marie!
Marie did not compete in the Power of Veto competition. According to the rules I posted before the competition, this means she is not eligable for the Power of Veto.
Because of this, Matt is the new Power of Veto winner. Congratulations, Matt. I'll update with a new poll below.
Additionally, because this was a mistake on MY part, and no one elses, I'm giving temporary, one-week immunity to Marie that protects her from both the HOH and the Coup d'Etat holder. Meaning, for this week (and this week only), she is safe from eviction. Once again, I'm sorry.
It's LJ's fault this time - really.
The poll is not working. I think this is because it's an edited entry, and for whatever reason, it's just not working. I can't explain it.
For this week, I'm going to ask you guys to post your responses as a screened comment (seperate from your diary room entry, please). For Matt, please tell me who you want to use the POV on (if anyone) and why. For Krysta, please tell me who you want to name as the replacement nominee if Matt uses the POV on Jenn and why. Also Krysta, please tell me who you want to name as the replacement nominee if Matt uses the POV on Lindsey and why.
Thanks. I'll start using polls again for the eviction voting!
As you should know, a new power was up for grabs in the Big Brother: Online 2 game. This power, based on the power that Big Brother introduced in season seven, allows the holder to overthrow the Head of Household and replace his/her nominations.
Well, this power has been found.
I will not reveal who won the Coup d'Etat, but I will privately inform him/her that they have won it. That person may choose to tell others if they wish, but they are not required to.
The Coup d'Etat winner has this power for up to three BBO2 weeks, or for three evictions (including the next one, which will be posted within the next few days). The Coup d'Etat winner will be asked if they wish to use the power. If they do, they will overthrow the current Head of Household and replace his or her current nominees. The Coup d'Etat holder may nominee anyone but the overthrown Head of Household, or the Power of Veto holder.
During voting time, the poll will ask the Coup d'Etat winner if they wish to use the power. It will also ask the other HouseGuests to vote for the two current nominees, in the event the holder does not wish to use it. If the Coup d'Etat winner uses it, a new poll will be created and for the new nominees. During voting (if the Coup d'Etat was used), the overthrown Head of Household will vote like a normal HouseGuest, and the Coup d'Etat holder will be the tiebreaker.
If anyone has any questions or doesn't understand, please post it as a comment in this entry (seperate from your Diary Room entry, please).
For those of you who are curious, the link to the webpage was hidden in the entry where I posted the chat link. One of the e's in "freewebs" was a link to the page. When I initially posted the Coup d'Etat announcement, there was no link to the page (just to mess with you guys, like I said I could).
We all know how this works. Post your diary room entry as a comment in this post (all comments are screened, so only I can see them). Please remember to be detailed and descriptive, I really love those!
This weeks prompts:
--How do you feel about Krysta winning the HOH position and Marie winning the POV position? Are these two ladies holding the power good or bad for your stragedy?
--What kind of allinaces do you have and do you trust them? Also, what is your stradegy and has it changed since the beginning of the game?
--Who do you suspect has won the Coup d'Etat? Are you afraid that one the power is used, it won't benefit you?
--Ideally, who do you want to sit in the final two with, at this point?
