12/29/06 03:05 pm - thenunownedgoat - Diary Room Entries - Unlocked

At the end of the game, Jason requested that I unlock all the Diary Room entries. Well - I never got around to it, but I am now. Below is a list of all the diary room entries.

Additionally, one former HouseGuest requested that her entries not be released, so they will not be. Also, if I remember correctly - Diane never completed diary room entries.

Week One: http://community.livejournal.com/bb_online2/6867.html

Week Two: http://community.livejournal.com/bb_online2/8337.html

Week Three: http://community.livejournal.com/bb_online2/10250.html

Week Four: http://community.livejournal.com/bb_online2/12838.html

Week Five: http://community.livejournal.com/bb_online2/15329.html

I neglected to ask for diary room entries during week six.

Week Seven: http://community.livejournal.com/bb_online2/18583.html

Week Eight: http://community.livejournal.com/bb_online2/20054.html

I neglected to ask for diary room entries during week nine.

Week Ten: http://community.livejournal.com/bb_online2/22857.html

There were no diary room entries during weeks eleven or twelve.

If you wish, react and discuss in the comments of this post... they are unlocked.

12/15/06 10:01 pm - thenunownedgoat - Final Voting Results

It is now time to announce the final voting results, to determine who will be the winner of Big Brother: Online 2.

But first, I want to discuss what's happening in this post. For starters, the results are here (at the top of the entry), which announces the winner. Below that, there is a poll for everyone to fill out (it's to help me determine how I did and what I should do differently next time around, if there is a next time around). Plus, comments are open if anyone wants to wish the winner congratulations, make comments, etc.

Unfortunately, for reasons that I do not know, neither Lindsey or Matthew voted. I sent them both emails, left comments on their personal journal, and I even sent Lindsey an instant message through MSN to which she never responded (interestingly enough, she is never on anymore - makes me wonder if I was blocked).

Marie, for health reasons, has just recently completed the poll. That is why I was waiting. Now, 5/7 of the jury's votes are in - so we're moving on. Here we go...

Final Voting ResultsCollapse )

For those you who are interested in who voted for you, VOTING HISTORY is avaliable! Click the link to read it.

Opinion PollCollapse )

The comments are open. If you wish to discuss the game, congratulation the winner, place friend requests, etc. this is the post to do it! Feel free to talk about ANYTHING approriate in the comments of this post.

At the request of our winner, I'm going to unlock all the diary room posts in the next few days so you can see what people said about you. HOWEVER, this was never stated before the game began. So, if anyone doesn't want this to happen, it won't. If you object to me unlocking diary room entries, post a comment in this entry and let me know. Otherwise, everyone will see them.

HouseGuests: it's been fun, and a pleasure to be your host. I look forward to interacting with you in the comments. :)

12/6/06 06:08 pm - thenunownedgoat - Final Statements, Final Voting

Final Statement from JasonCollapse )

Krysta's Final StatementCollapse )

It is now time to vote for the winner of Big Brother: Online 2! Only the jury members are eligable to vote, and must vote for either Jason or Krysta. Additionally, a statement of 100 characters or less may be posted along with your vote, but this is not required.

-Only jury members are permitted to vote. These jury members are Dorsey, Jenn, Lindsey, Marie, Matt, Matthew, Stephanie.
-Who you voted for and your final statement (if you make one) will be posted, so you can't hide from your vote. Just to let you know.
-You are voting for who you WANT to win. If you type in "Jason," you are voting for him to win. If you type in "Krysta," you are voting for her to win.
-Check who you voted for. If you suffer from a random brain fart and type the name of the wrong person in - tough luck.
-Good luck to both Krysta and Jason. May the best HouseGuest win!

Final VotingCollapse )

Once all jury members have voted, the results will be announced. Like I previously said, due to their lack of activity from both Matthew and Lindsey, I will be waiting for them - they are, however, permitted and requested to vote.

12/1/06 08:33 pm - thenunownedgoat - Week Twelve: Final Statements

Jason and Krysta - it is not time to make your final statements to the jury and other HouseGuests. These statements will be posted on the community, and directly afterwards the final vote will take place. These words can affect the way your jury members vote, so choice your words wisely.

There is no set size I'm looking for. Obviously, you may wish to opt for a larger final statement so you have enough space to say everything you want too - but don't get too big, because your jury members will loose interest and may not even read it. However, a smaller final statement may not be adequate enough to convince the jury members that you should be the person they are voting for.

Finally, your final statements can include anything you want them to include. You can talk to the jury members, you can talk to the other HouseGuests, you can talk to both of them. You can tell them why they should vote for you, shouldn't vote for your contestant, or tell them the size of your shoes - it doesn't matter. The choice is yours.

Jason and Krysta, please post your final statements as comments to this entry (comments are screened, so only I can see them - for now).

In the mean time, feel free to continue to discuss the game in the previous post!

Good luck, final two!

EDIT: Still waiting for Krysta.

11/29/06 06:23 pm - thenunownedgoat - Week Twelve: Jury Questioning, Open Discussion

Jury Questioning: AnswersCollapse )

It's now time for open house discussion. Basically, this is your chance to talk about anything related to the game with your other HouseGuests. It is your opportunity to discuss stradegy, ask a burning question, or (if you're final two) swing some votes. Anything that has to do with the game and/or HouseGuests is permitted, and comments appear immedietly. So go ahead and chat away!

11/28/06 10:32 pm - thenunownedgoat - Week Twelve: Jury Questions

Matthew nor Lindsey have posted questions for the final two. This disappoints me greatly - I sent them the initial email, left comments on their personal journal, and even send Lindsey and instant message while Lindsey was online (apparently Matthew never is). I'm forced to move on because of this. As of now, they are still considered part of the jury. HOWEVER, I will not be waiting in the future -- if the group is ready to move on, I will move on without them. I'm sorry for making the game slightly unfairer because two of our jury members have decided to go inactive on us.

Jury QuestionsCollapse )

Marie - I don't know when I'll be ready to post the poll. You can go ahead and email me your vote as soon as you know at thenunownedgoat (at) gmail (dot) com. If I were you, I'd wait as long as possible so you can see what their responses are, etc. but the decision is yours.

Jason and Krysta - please submit your answers by posting a comment. All comments are screened, so only I can see them (however, I will be posting your answers, obviously).

11/20/06 06:43 pm - thenunownedgoat - Week Twelve: Jury Questioning

Jury members, it is now time for you to submit your questions for the final two HouseGuests. You may ask any question you'd like. Usually these questions are used in order to help you decide who you're going to vote for, or to force a final two HouseGuest to admit something.

You may sumbit one question for Jason and one question for Krysta or one question for both of the HouseGuests. Submit your questions by posting a comment in this entry. All comments are screened, so only I can see the questions for now. Make sure you are clear when you ask who your questions are for.

Once I recieve all the questions, I will post them in an easy-to-read post. The HouseGuests will then answer the questions, and I will post their responses.

If you have any questions, you can add a comment to this entry and I'll try to solve your problem.

Thanks for your cooperation.

11/19/06 01:46 pm - thenunownedgoat - Week Eleven: Eviction; Week Twelve: Procedures

EvictionCollapse )

If you wish to leave a goodbye message for the evicted HouseGuest, please do so in the comments (they will immedietly show up).

As there are only two more HouseGuests, it will soon be time to start the final voting process. Here's how it's going to work, in a tenative schedule format.

Remember, this is just tentative... things may be up or back, depending on my own avaliability and how soon the jury members respond.

--On around Monday, I will make a post asking for jury questions. Here, all seven jury members will have an opportunity to ask you any questions they wish. The questions they ask may serve any purpose: to prove a point to other jury members or to help them decide who to vote for, for example. After I do this, I will send an email to EVERYONE and let them know the end is coming, and they should re-check out the community and what not.
--After the jury members submit their questions, I will post the questions for Jason and Krysta to answer.
--Once Jason and Krysta finish asking the questions, I will post their answers to the questions. Also at this time I will provide a post for everyone to openly discuss the game with everyone else (in the past, this has been one of the more popular posts). You can talk about ANYTHING: who you're going to vote for, past alliances, how you played the game, etc. This will be completely open for any HouseGuests, former HouseGuests, jury members, and current HouseGuests, to ask questions and discuss the game.
--There will be a day or two where nothing will be happening, to give jury members a chance to decide who they want to vote for.
--I'll post a poll, asking the jury members who they wish to vote for to win.
--Whenever all the votes are in, I will count up the votes and announce who the winner of Big Brother: Online 2 is!
--After I announce the results, I'll have a poll for you guys to fill out on how well I did as a host, and another post for you guys to discuss anything you want, related or not to the game.

If you have any questions, leave a comment in this post.

11/6/06 10:16 pm - thenunownedgoat - Week Nine: Twist Announcement/Nominations

Hello, HouseGuests. It's me, your host. Think it was too late in the game for a twist? I think not. It's time to shake things up a bit.

Normally, I would be asking the new Head of Household, Stephanie, for her nominations for evictions right now. However, I think we’re going to change things a bit this week.

I don’t know how many of you watched Big Brother 1, but for those of you who didn’t, I’ll explain the process to you. For that season only, the HouseGuests were called into the diary room and asked who they wanted to nominate for eviction. The two (or more, if there was a tie) HouseGuests who had the most nominations against them became the final nominees. Then, America decided who they wanted to vote out, by calling an automated phone number.

While I won’t be involving “America” for this twist, I will be asking the HouseGuests to nominate their fellow HouseGuests for eviction.

But who will decide who is ultimately evicted, you may ask. The HouseGuests? No. The Head of Household, of course. Think of the game being reversed this week. Normally, the HOH nominates two people and the HouseGuests evict them. This week, however, it will be exactly opposite.

Because of this twist, there will be no Veto competition this week, and no chance for anyone to try and save one of the nominees.

At this point, the HouseGuests should make a comment with the name of the two HouseGuests they want up for eviction. I will count up all the votes, and the two (or more, if there is a tie) HouseGuests with the most “nominations” against them will go up for final nomination. At that that point, I will ask Stephanie, the current HOH, who they want to evict.

Please comment with the two HouseGuests you want up for eviction at this time. All comments are screened, so only I can see them. You have at least twenty-four hours to chose who you wish to vote for nomination. If you don’t submit a comment by the time I close this, you will not have the opportunity to vote for a HouseGuest’s nomination.

Thank you, HouseGuests. Please enjoy the twist!

I'll probably start the nominations process later this night. If not tonight, I should do it tomorrow.

HOH CompetitionCollapse )

11/3/06 09:41 pm - thenunownedgoat - Week Eight: Eviction

Note: Not all the votes have been cast. Unfortunately, Matthew has yet to vote. Normally, I'd wait a little longer for him. Marie, one of the nominated HouseGuests, will be unable to get on for the rest of the week (if she wants to tell you why, she can - but I'm not going to), so I'd really like to get the results up before she is unable to sign online.

Regardless of the way he votes, Matthew's vote will not change anything. Based on the vote of the other two HouseGuest's votes, there's no way that the eviction results can be changed based on Matthew's vote. For that reason, I'm going to go ahead and post the results.

Matthew, please go back and vote in the poll, just for the sake of... whatever. I will come back and edit this post to reflect your vote, but I just wanted to get this up for Marie.

Edit II: Matthew has cast his vote now. His vote is reflected below.

Before we begin, I want to talk about the speed of the game. If everyone cooperates and everything goes normally, the speed should pick up. This last competition dragged on because only four out of seven people submited anything, until Matthew posted his (which is shown below). I'm going to try to pick things up, so if the 24 hour limit has passed, I don't know that I'll be waiting much longer. I'm not trying to yell, just a warning. Thanks, guys.

Edit III: Wow, the game has been moving so slowly! The past two weeks or so has been my fault. However, the reason these results have not been posted yet is because of some of the HouseGuests. So far, only four people have made any comments, besides the issue with Marie and comments being screened. I'm still waiting on a response from Dorsey, Matthew, and Marie. Marie is expected to get back from a trip today, so that could explain things. If at least one more person posts and I have time, I will do the results then. If not, I'll think I'll post results on Monday (hopefully, if I can) regardless of the total number of responses I have by then.

9/20/06 09:33 pm - thenunownedgoat - Week Four: Announcement, Power of Veto Ceremony

Okay, HouseGuests. After what happened this evening, I feel I should provide an clear, well-written explination for what happened. I know that many of you have probably heard it through the grapevine, or was involved directly, but I want to clarify everything.

In the Power of Veto competition, the rules clearly state that if you didn't submit a vote for your favorite HouseGuest, you were not eligable to win the POV. That meant, for all those who did not submit a comment, they were not able to win the Power of Veto. Well, Marie got five votes, Matt got one vote, and they were it.

For reasons that I cannot explain, I somehow have begun to associate Marie with another HouseGuest, one who did compete in the competition. For whatever reason, I was under the assumption that Marie had competed in the Power of Veto competition.

However, I was wrong. Marie was admitted to the hospital overnight due to abdominal pain and was unable to compete in the Power of Veto in time. This means she was not eligable to compete in the Power of Veto. For whatever reason, I assumed she did.

During this time, Marie sent me an instant message through AIM. Her screenname is LoveTheLlama1. Krysta's LiveJournal username is thellamaqueen. As you can tell, it would be easy for me to get confused. Initially, I thought she was Krysta. She than began explaining why she was unable to compete, and I realized it didn't make sense. I knew for a fact Krysta competed. Then I realized that I made this mistake once before -- it was NOT Krysta.

Because I was still under the assumption that Marie had competed, I figured it was one of the other HouseGuests who did not compete. I never considered it could be Marie, because I had assumed that she competed and I knew LoveTheLlama1 was someone who did not compete, apparently Dorsey.

During this conversation, I told her that Marie had won the Power of Veto. She seemed surprised and excited, so I thought that they must have been aligned or something.

Minutes later, Jason sent me an instant message through AIM and asked me how Marie could be the Power of Veto winner if Marie didn't compete. I went back and checked the competition, hoping/assuming Jason had misunderstood, and discovered that Marie never competed. That meant that Marie wasn't able to compete in the Power of Veto, making Matt the actual winner.

I sent an instant message back to LoveTheLlama1 and told her I made a mistake, and that Marie wasn't the Power of Veto. She said something that made me realize -- it wasn't Dorsey, it was Marie! I had just guaranteed her that she was the Power of Veto winner, and now I was telling her she wasn't.

Understandably, Marie was upset. She had already begun discussing stradegy between her fellow HouseGuests. This put her at an extreme disadvantage, because she no longer had that power she was promised.

I corrected the issue with Matt and Krysta, and you can see the results of the Power of Veto competition below. However, there was still the issue of Marie being vunerable because of my mistake, not hers.

For this reason, I needed to compensate Marie for what happened. I messed up her gameplay, and I needed to right that wrong. For this reason, I gave Marie immunity this week -- in the event that the POV was used, Krysta couldn't nominate her; in the event that the Coup d'Etat was used, the Coup d'Etat winner couldn't nominate her. Just for this week, however. I quickly spoke with both the Coup d'Etat holder and Krysta about Marie's immunity, and they both seemed to understand.

Once again, I'm very sorry, especially to those who were directly involved, and especially Marie. I made a mistake that could have easily been avoided, and it was my fault. I'm very sorry.

Call me the Andybot if you want to. Not even Julie Chen would make a mistake like this! I can't believe I did it. I'm usually very careful about that sort of thing. Sometime in week two, I re-calculated one of the entire competition's results, because I feared I made a mistake. I'm really devoted to being correct and being fair.

I'm sorry this happened. I don't intend for it to happen again. Once again, I'm very, very, very, very sorry and I hope everyone understands that I am just a human.
